Meet the Baker

Hi, I’m Lisa, the face behind The Little Bake Hut.

I've always loved baking, and over the years family, friends and neighbours have happily been my willing taste testers.

The idea for The Little Bake Hut came about partly because I love creating homemade cakes, traybakes and sweet treats... and partly because my husband kept pointing out that my baking habit might be responsible for his expanding waistline!

As a mum of two busy boys, life is always full, but I've always found time for baking. Over the years I've made countless birthday cakes and celebration bakes — I even baked and decorated my own wedding cake.

What started as a hobby has grown into a little honesty bake hut here in Hartburn, where I get to share my love of baking with the local community.

Everything is homemade in my kitchen, with a mixture of old favourites and new recipes appearing regularly.
