Please read the relevant terms and conditions below before booking with The Little Bake Hut. Payment of a booking fee confirms acceptance of the terms applicable to your order.
Dessert Table Booking Terms
Booking
Your booking is confirmed once the booking fee has been received and The Little Bake Hut has confirmed your event date.
A 25% booking fee is required to secure your date. The booking fee contributes towards reserving the date and the costs associated with preparing for your order.
The remaining balance must be paid 4 weeks before the event.
Final Details
Final flavour choices, venue details, access arrangements and any other agreed requirements must be confirmed no later than 4 weeks before the event.
Changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact The Little Bake Hut as soon as possible.
Any refund will take account of work already undertaken, ingredients or items purchased specifically for your event and other reasonable losses resulting from the cancellation.
Where The Little Bake Hut has to cancel and cannot provide the agreed service, payments made for services not provided will be refunded.
Dessert Quantities
Dessert table packages contain the number of individual dessert portions specified when booking.
Suggested guest numbers are provided as a guide and are based on approximately 2–3 dessert pieces per person. The Little Bake Hut cannot guarantee how many pieces individual guests will consume.
Delivery & Setup
Delivery, setup and collection of display equipment are included for venues within a 10-mile radius of The Little Bake Hut in Hartburn, Stockton-on-Tees.
Events outside this area are welcome and an additional travel charge will be quoted before booking.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the venue permits external food suppliers and that suitable access is available at the agreed setup and collection times.
Display Equipment
Display stands, platters, risers and other reusable equipment supplied by The Little Bake Hut remain the property of The Little Bake Hut.
The equipment will normally be collected after the event at an agreed time.
The customer is responsible for the reasonable replacement cost of equipment that is lost or damaged while in the care of the customer or venue.
Styling
Standard dessert-table styling and flavour labels are included.
Specific decorations, flowers, personalised signage, table linen or specialist display equipment requested for an event may incur an additional charge. Any additional costs will be agreed before purchase.
Customer or venue-owned display equipment can be incorporated into the setup by prior agreement.
Allergens
Allergen information will be provided for each dessert variety.
The Little Bake Hut handles a range of allergens in its kitchen. Customers must advise The Little Bake Hut of any allergy or dietary requirements before confirming their final menu.
While appropriate food-safety and allergen procedures are followed, products cannot be guaranteed to be free from allergens where those allergens are handled within the kitchen.
After Setup
The Little Bake Hut will ensure that the dessert table is appropriately set up at the agreed location.
Once setup has been completed and the display handed over to the customer or venue, responsibility for keeping the desserts appropriately stored, protected and displayed passes to the customer/venue.
The Little Bake Hut cannot be responsible for deterioration or damage caused after handover by inappropriate storage, excessive heat, direct sunlight, guests, venue staff or the display being moved.
Food Storage & Leftovers
Any desserts remaining after the event should be stored appropriately according to the storage guidance provided. The Little Bake Hut cannot accept responsibility for products consumed after they have been stored or handled contrary to this guidance.
Photography
The Little Bake Hut may photograph the completed dessert-table setup for its portfolio, website and social media.
Please let us know before the event if you would prefer photographs of your setup not to be used for promotional purposes.
Circumstances Outside Our Control
If circumstances outside either party's reasonable control significantly affect the event, The Little Bake Hut and the customer will discuss the available options and make reasonable efforts to find a suitable solution.
Any refund or alternative arrangement will take account of the circumstances, work already completed and costs already incurred.
Acceptance
Payment of the booking fee following receipt of your booking summary and these terms confirms that you accept the Dessert Table Booking Terms.
Celebration Cake Booking Terms
Booking & Payment
A 25% booking fee is required to secure your collection date. Your booking is confirmed once the booking fee has been received and The Little Bake Hut has confirmed your order.
The remaining balance must be paid by the date stated on your order confirmation.
Final Design
Cake flavours, size, wording, colours and agreed design details will be confirmed before your cake is made.
Please check names, ages, dates and wording carefully. The Little Bake Hut cannot be responsible for errors in information supplied by the customer.
Handmade cakes will naturally vary slightly from reference photographs. Where an inspiration image is supplied, it will be used as a guide rather than reproduced as an exact copy.
Changes
Please contact The Little Bake Hut as soon as possible if you need to change your order.
Changes are subject to availability and may affect the final price. Significant changes requested close to the collection date may not be possible.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel your order, please contact The Little Bake Hut as soon as possible.
Any refund will take account of work already undertaken, ingredients or decorations purchased specifically for your cake and other reasonable losses resulting from the cancellation.
If The Little Bake Hut has to cancel and cannot provide your cake, payments made for goods or services not provided will be refunded.
Collection
Cakes must be collected at the agreed date and time.
Once collected, responsibility for the safe transport and storage of the cake passes to the customer.
Transport instructions will be provided where appropriate. The Little Bake Hut cannot accept responsibility for damage caused after collection through incorrect handling, transport or storage.
Storage & Serving
Storage and serving guidance will be provided where appropriate. Cakes should be stored and consumed in accordance with this guidance. The Little Bake Hut cannot accept responsibility for deterioration or damage caused by incorrect storage after collection.
Allergens
Ingredient and allergen information will be provided with your cake.
The Little Bake Hut handles a range of allergens within its kitchen. Please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements before placing your order.
While appropriate food-safety and allergen procedures are followed, products cannot be guaranteed to be free from allergens where those allergens are handled within the kitchen.
Decorative Items
Cakes may contain non-edible decorations, supports, toppers or dowels where required. These should be removed before serving. Any relevant information will be provided when the cake is collected.
Photography
The Little Bake Hut may photograph completed cakes for its portfolio, website and social media. Please let us know before collection if you would prefer photographs of your cake not to be used for promotional purposes.
Acceptance
Payment of the booking fee following receipt of your order details and these terms confirms that you accept the Celebration Cake Booking Terms.
Traybake Platter Order Terms
Ordering & Payment
Traybake platters are made to order and require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice.
Your order is confirmed once The Little Bake Hut has confirmed availability and the required payment has been received.
Changes & Cancellation
Please contact The Little Bake Hut as soon as possible if you need to make changes to or cancel your order.
Changes are subject to availability and cannot always be accommodated. Any refund following cancellation will take account of work already undertaken, ingredients or items purchased specifically for your order and other reasonable losses resulting from the cancellation.
If The Little Bake Hut has to cancel and cannot provide your order, payments made for goods not provided will be refunded.
Collection
Platters must be collected at the agreed date and time.
